What is Physiotherapy and How can it Help ?
Physiotherapy is one of the most popular and effective ways to deal with a wide variety of Musculo-Skeletal disorders. Whether a patient is presenting with an Orthopaedic or Rheumatological complaint, a systematic, holisitc and tailored assessment will provide you with a diagnosis and treatment plan for your problem. It will address problems of joint and soft tissue restriction, muscle weakness and imbalance, and the management of pain and disability. This will not only enable recovery from inury but promote a return to previous activity levels and beyond.
Physiotherapy uses a non-invasive variety of manual techniques such as massage, manipulation and myo-facial release. This is combined with a bespoke exercise prescription designed to deal with your specific muscle weaknesses and imbalances.
Physiotherapy will help relieve your pain allowing you to quickly return to normal function and activity. Whether you have a fresh injury through sport or accident, or a long term chronic problem, Physiotherapy is there to help.
At DVM Physiotherapy a holistic approach to treatment enables the body to recover efficiently via its own healing mechanisms.
